I don’t like to toss around the term “genius” very often.

People that take things in a completely new direction. Maybe it’s developing aspirin, computer chips, plastic, carbon fiber, or how you play a guitar. Or in this case, maybe at times, how you smash one or two—— or a half dozen.

Pete Townsend is one such “genius” at least in my book. Great lyrics, sometimes sensual, emotional, funny, uplifting. I have utmost respect for the man, his music, his band and vision. This week, we’ll sample some of each on his birthday. Join together in the band!!
